Maybe your parents were divorced and you were loyal to your mother but kept your father’s last name or you felt loyal to your father as well and you were torn as to which direction you should go.  Some of you are adopted and you have no idea who your birth parents were or what name your blood heritage takes.   To others you may have spent your life in and out of foster homes with many different last names following you around.   Maybe your divorced parents have since gotten remarried to other people both with different last names leaving your now expanded family with new names in the mix.  Still others may have a combination of any one of these stories. Whatever your own personal circumstances are, perhaps you have often felt like you have NO LAST NAME.
